Gavin's Anger Dance!

Gavin is a big fan of the movie "Hot Rod" which has in it a takeoff of the "Anger Dance" in Footloose.

Here's Hot Rod version followed by Gavin's.

I can't wait to show this to his girlfriend someday!

G-Force

Gavin is all boy. he's a rough and tumble kid who loves to play in the dirt. The more mussed he is by the end of the day, the happier he is. He wears every playtime-induced scab and bruise with special pride. He suffers from an excess of energy, is terminally cute and he knows it.

Gavin reminds me of and my brothers when we were kids. He loves, animals, bugs and throwing things into the water.

When he is tired, he conks out like someone turned a switch.

He wakes up slow and cranky.

He's scared of lightning but not much else.

He can be a major pain in the rear in a Walmart, runs me ragged every time he visits.. and I love him for it.

Here he is with all his boyish charm and a few layers of dirt, my grandson Gavin.

This just in ...

Gavin wanted me to tell everyone that we are a bunch of poopie faces.




And then he laughed because he thought he was being so witty.



What can I say .. he's 5. That's the extent of his comedic sophistication.

Playing With Tractors

Ken Hanson invited the kiddos over today to play with heavy machinery.

He drug out his five tractors, instructed the kids how to drive them and we had a blast. Here are a few frames Jennifer shot and a couple movies.

Who knew tractors could be so much fun. Next time - tractor-tipping.
